Streaker hit by player at CFL game hires lawyer, says he was injured

Football players should be careful about how they approach fans who run on the field, lest they face a lawsuit.

Last week a fan ran on the Los Angeles Dodgers Authentic Jersey field at a Canadian Football League game and was flattened by Marcell Young, a defensive back for the B.C. Lions. Now that fan says Young injured him, and he has hired a lawyer.

The fan’s lawyer released a statement saying he suffered serious injuries, including a mild traumatic brain injury, as a result of being violently struck by BC Lions player Marcell Young.

Heading into the off-season, the Colorado Avalanche’s future in net was a little blurry. Now it’s clear that Philipp Grubauer will be their go-to guy.

On Friday, the Avalanche sent the 47th pick to the Washington Capitals for Grubauer, also absoring Brooks Orpik’s contract. Today, Colorado got the wheels turning on a buyout for Orpik, and reportedly agreed to a three-year deal with Grubauer.

The three-year pact will be worth about $10 million, according to TVA’s Renaud Lavoie. If that’s accurate, the 26-year-old would carry about a $3.33M cap hit from 2018-19 through 2020-21. Do note that the Avalanche haven’t made the signing official just yet.

Gaffney retrieved some type of tool and a container from the suspect’s vehicle, walked over to the passenger’s side of the victim’s vehicle near the gas tank, and pried it open, the report said, via Earl Mitchell Womens Jersey First Coast News. Gaffney then poured an unknown substance from the container into the gas tank … The unknown female walked around the vehicle and stabbed all of the tires with a sharp object.

Gaffney has not been arrested and his attorney said, via, that his client is not involved.

He said he hasn’t even seen Lito in three years and he’s very aggravated that his name is coming up in this, attorney Seth Adam Schwartz said. He doesn’t know why this is happening.

Sheppard said that he and Gaffney, who was arrested for domestic battery in 2017 and on a drug charge in 2016, had a falling out in 2012 and that his car sustained some $14,000 in damage during the incident.
